Hosted by Australia’s biggest beauty review website, beautyheaven.com.au, the Glosscar Awards are Australia’s Oscars of the beauty world – an annual consumer-voted awards initiative, showcasing the best beauty products to hit the shelves in the previous year.

Today beautyheaven is thrilled to announce the 2018 Glosscar Award winners.

Over 15,000 votes were cast for the products that made their way into the hearts and beauty cupboards of beautyheaven members in 2017.

This year we awarded winners and runner-ups in more than 70 beauty categories, chosen 605 product nominations.

Brands to take the market by storm in the last 12 months include:

• Benefit Cosmetics (five awards in the Makeup category)
• Rodan + Fields (14 awards in the Skin Care category)
• The Body Shop (six awards across the Body and Skin Care categories)
• Sukin (six awards across various categories)

Demonstrating the Australian market’s unwavering desire for a beautiful body, ‘Best new body treatment’, ‘Best New Massage/Aromatherapy Oil’ and ‘Best New Self-Tanning Accessory’ were the categories to receive the most votes.
